Taking Shape

Whether natural or manmade, certain shapes and forms draw us in and command attention—just like these striking objects.

All in One

During the initial COVID-19 lockdown, local artist Chad Jensen found himself isolated with only the tools and materials he had on hand. He began working with plaster as a medium. He says this piece, entitled Semi-Precious, embodies the tension between beauty, fragility, industry and architecture. At 14-inches tall, it is both conspicuous and engaging.

Childproof Glamour

Most precious glass art is susceptible to toddlers, pets and mindless visitors. But the soft resin vases by Gaetano Pesce for Fish Design, like this 14-inch-tall Twin C Vase, are soft to the touch and can survive the aforementioned disasters. Each  piece is handmade and one-of-a-kind.
