The Rod & Gun Club in Everglades City provides the perfect base camp for exploration. For nights when the temp drops by 30 degrees in the Everglades, reach for a vintage Ralph Lauren blazer, P.A.R.O.S.H. turtleneck and Akris skirt paired with suede Marc Fisher boots and a Royal & Awesome topper. The look nods to the 1800s, when the hunting lodge was established.

Ernest Hemingway once walked the halls where Danielle now pays homage to his craft with a well-read hardcover. A cream-colored Cinq à Sept blouse with a bit of shine adds glamour, befitting the club’s earlier  days lodging Tinseltown’s elite, musicians and presidents.

Danielle is primed for exploration with a J.Crew jacket over a vintage vest, Dover Saddlery pants under Coach boots and Wolf & Badger gloves. The layered look can be pared down when the heat rises.

A poncho by In2 By InCashmere transitions well from now into cooler days. The look—with an Acne Studios shirt, REISS pants and boots by Vince Camuto—provides coverage from the harsh sun while being lightweight.

Studious types can appreciate a Marni button-up, paired with a Todd Snyder vest, Paul Smith tie and vintage pants. The look evokes an air of effortless elegance.
