Business Is Booming in Naples
Collier County once again ranks high on a “best-performing cities” list.

Southwest Florida is no longer just a retirement and tourist destination. In recent years, a more diverse and vibrant economy has developed, in part aided by a steadily growing population.
This was reflected once again this week in a report by the Milken Institute, which placed the Naples metropolitan area 18th nationwide in a study of best-performing cities. The study looks at job growth, wages and a host of other economic data. Naples ranked fourth in the country when it came to job growth over the last five years. (Read the full report here.)
Cape Coral-Fort Myers came in at 30th on the list and the Sarasota area ranked sixth. The Gulfshore from Tampa on south to Naples has been prime for business development.
