Things to Do Fourth of July Week in Naples

Fireworks, parades and much more during the whole holiday week

BY June 29, 2018

Fourth of July falls right in the middle of the week this year. So, instead of claiming it as part of a long weekend, let’s just declare the whole week a holiday. With that in mind, here’s how to spend your entire holiday week in Naples.

Sunday: The Naples Players are still going strong in the summer with a run of Chicago. If you miss out this week, don’t worry. The show runs through July 29.

Monday: Today’s the last day for the kids to hang out with Spiderman and the Black Panther at Naples Zoo’s annual Meet Marvel Super Heroes weekend.

Tuesday: Head up to Momentum Brewhouse for a Third of July party with craft beer, Up North Doggs and music. Think of it as pre-game for the Fourth.

Wednesday: It’s July 4! The Naples parade starts downtown at 10 a.m. Sugden Regional Park hosts an ice cream social starting at 4 p.m. Fireworks start at the Naples Pier around 9 p.m. If you’re looking for a unique view, maybe head out on the Gulf with Pure Florida’s fireworks cruise

Thursday: Do your patriotic duty—and clean up the beach. Old Naples Surf Shop and Keep Collier Beautiful are organizing a volunteer-lead beach cleanup just south of the Naples Pier at the 13th Avenue South beach.

Friday: Check out Mike Epps at The Off The Hook Comedy Club through Sunday.

Saturday: Test your cornhole skills at the Beach Box Cafe near Vanderbilt Beach. The winners of the tournament get a $500 cash prize.
