The annual Saint Ann Latino Contemporary Art Auction (www.SALCAA.org) took place March 7 at Artis—Naples and gave attendees the opportunity to meet prominent local and international Latino artists, bid on their artwork during the silent auction, and enjoy authentic Latino hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment, all while raising funds to perpetuate the Saint Ann Latino Scholarship Fund. SALCAA was developed in support of the Saint Ann Latino Scholarship Fund. This fund began in 2012 with an anonymous donation with the purpose of creating a scholarship for underprivileged children of Latino background. After five years, 17 students had benefited from scholarships. Through the Latino Scholarship Fund, Saint Ann Catholic School continues to fulfill.
