On Tuesday, Nov. 13, actor Mark Wahlberg joined LPGA Commissioner Mike Whan, CME Group Chairman and CEO Terry Duffy and LPGA players Brittany Lincicome and Mo Martin at the LPGA season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. Wahlberg helped announce vast changes for 2019 season which will see the purse double to $5M at the season-ending 2019 CME Group Tour Championship. The elite field of 60 players will compete for $1.5 million winner’s check, the largest in women’s golf. In a newly created charity program, which will become the CME Group Cares Challenge – Score 1 for St. Jude, CME Group will donate $20,000 for each hole-in-one made on the LPGA Tour in 2019, with a minimum guaranteed donation of $500,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
