MUSEUMS & GALLERIES

 

The Baker Museum

Through 5/18 Rediscovering Egypt: The Collection of the Dahesh Museum of Art combines original engravings from the Description de l’Egypte—considered the foundational work of modern Egyptology—with works from the collection of the Dahesh Museum of Art in New York City.

Through 7/6 American marine art and maritime artifacts are on display in The Coast and the Sea, organized by the New-York Historical Society.

Through 7/6 Featuring nearly 100 dioramas devoted to current Belgian artists and art movements, Museum to Scale 1/7 recalls the Wunderkammern, or “cabinets of curiosities and wonder.”

10-7/6 Nearly 300 works by Collier County K-12 students are on display in the Sixth Annual Student Exhibition.

28 Art After Hours invites you to explore the museum’s galleries to the tune of local musicians from 6-9 p.m. Free.
