Sunset Sangria at The Boathouse Tiki Bar & Grill
A waterfront spot like The Boathouse Tiki Bar & Grill, celebrating its one-year anniversary this month, practically begs people to order a daiquiri (if you must, we suggest the passion fruit). But we’ve found ourselves digging our toes into the sand with the Sunset Sangria. More like a sangria-inspired cocktail, the mixture of sweet white wine and a zing of Sprite is further enhanced by artisanal elderflower liqueur, blackberry brandy, and freshly squeezed lemon and lime juices. We weren’t originally expecting the resulting Day-Glo pink, but then again we weren’t expecting to be hooked—we promise you won’t miss those daiquiris.
