Wall Candy

Naples designer Pam Durkin’s recent introduction is one of those about-time moments: outdoor art. No need to relegate your bare, open-air walls to metal sunbeams or copper fish. Durkin has developed a printing process that ensures limited edition photography and giclees retain their true colors. Art, measuring from 12 by 17 to 30 by 42 inches, is custom-framed in a composite resin designed to look like pecky cypress in driftwood or espresso finishes. Pieces are priced from $135 for the Naples Pier to $650 for the limited edition Aegean Harbor by Richard Shaffett. Available at Pamela Durkin Design, Naples.

Gaga for DALA

Sure, the vivid brights and low profile of DEDON’s DALA collection will woo you at first sight, but feel good buying these lounge chairs, footstools and stools/side tables knowing they’re also eco-friendly. Master weavers create each piece using ecological fibers made from recycled polyethylene, food and drink packages that add a leather-like luster in shades of grass, stone and fire. High-tech Batyline fabric cushions add to the kaleidoscope of color. Lightweight and portable, the pieces as shown are priced from $1,005 for the side table with cushion, $2,095 for the table with glass top and $3,120 to $3,445 for the lounge with back and seat cushions and DECO cushions. Available at DEDON, Miromar Design Center, Estero.

Fire It Up!

EcoSmart Fireplaces’ portable fire bowls use green technology to add ambience without a chimney, a gas line, or an ashy or sooty aftermath. The smokeless fire pots not only create a romantic glow but also warm an outdoor space. Priced from $900 and available through Poggenpohl at Miromar Design Center, Estero.

Stone Age

Stone Forest’s multicolored onyx fountains are hand-carved to maximize pattern movement and color. Measuring 24 to 60 inches, these beautiful bubblers are also available in other exotic stones. The small onyx pebble fountain, shown, is $395 and available through Ferguson, Fort Myers and Naples.
