Go with the Flow

Fresh air: The owners of this 9,000-square-foot home sought a floor plan that would flow from one room to the next, indoors to outdoors, with doors and expansive windows to the balcony creating an open, family-friendly atmosphere for their young, active children.

Kick back: The master bedroom (above) is “an oasis for the owners to escape and have their own retreat,” says Interior Designer Kim Collins. “We kept it cool and simple for a peaceful environment.” The kitchen (left) provides a hub for family activity, and the coastal materials and tones are a nod to the home’s waterfront location in downtown Naples’ Aqualane Shores. A painting of the owners’ favorite view of the Gulf by local artist Christine Moore adds a finishing touch.

Rooms with a view: The home’s design maintains a focus on its outdoor spaces (above), with abundant windows and balconies across the rear and an elegant pool terrace ideal for entertaining. The master bathroom (left) is finished with white marble, glacier blue countertops and custom cabinetry, and the interior shower, tucked behind a marble slab wall, links to an exterior shower just beyond.
