Brown & Brown Insurance of Southwest Florida has opened registration for its fourth annual Charity Golf Outing, which helps provide local children with scholarships to attend the early childhood education program at Child Care of Southwest Florida. The four-person scramble golf tournament features a hearty breakfast, a round of championship golf, lunch and an awards presentation. This year’s tournament is being held Friday, Sept. 27 at West Bay Golf Club, a private 18-hole, 6,973-yard course in Estero that was masterfully renovated in 2018 by Fry Straka. The cost for golf participants is $150 per golfer, or $600 for a foursome. The fee includes golf, breakfast, lunch and tournament swag.
