Join the 21st Century C.A.R.E. Foundation in a Race Against Colon and Rectal Cancer
The 9th Annual “Scope for Hope” 5K run, two-mile walk, and kids’ fun run will take place on Saturday, March 16 starting at 8 a.m. at Century Link Sports Complex at Hammond Stadium (14100 Six Mile Cypress Parkway, Fort Myers).
Produced by 21st Century C.A.R.E., 21st Century Oncology’s affiliated not-for-profit charitable foundation, all of the funds raised will be used for colorectal cancer education, screening, and treatment in Southwest Florida. 21st Century C.A.R.E. is dedicated to helping cancer patients, allowing them to put their focus where it belongs – on beating the disease.
Pre-registration through March 1 is $30 for adults and $15 for youth, ages 17 and under. From March 2 to March 15, the registration cost is $35 for adults and $20 for youth. The cost of registration the day of the event is $40 for all ages. The first 200 people registered will receive a race t-shirt and gift bag. Refreshments will be provided. Participants can also enjoy awards and chance drawings after the race.
