Description

Please join Chief Horticulturalist, Debbie Hughes, as she shares her knowledge of honey bees and other key pollinators at the Edison Ford Estates. We will be hosting this program in honor of National Honey Bee Day on August 17. Bees were an important component of the working estate for their cross pollination and honey productive capabilities. They kept up two beehives on site and they were probably kept near the caretaker's cottage in this decade. They are now located on the dock next to McGregor Avenue just east of the fountain.
