Digital Asset Security and Privacy Forum set for Nov. 8 in Naples

Date/Time

November 08, 2019 to November 08, 2019
09:00 AM untill 12:00 PM

Description

A special Digital Asset Security and Privacy Forum will be held on Friday, November 8 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Naples Daily News Community room located at 1100 Immokalee Road in Naples. Knowing the importance of client information privacy and security, Jim L. Henderson, owner of William C. Huff Companies, will be sponsoring the informational and interactive forum for the community. The goal of the forum is for attendees to gain a clearer understanding of how to keep their families, wealth, and businesses private.   Attendees are asked to think about these questions: Are you ready for 5G technology? Are your assets and personal information protected? Or are you at risk? If the answer is unclear to any of these, join the discussion with experts and thought leaders in the privacy, asset management, and security industries. Learn how to protect your information and digital assets, and those of your loved ones before it is too late.   Statistics show that CEOs are 12 times more likely to be the target of social incidents, and nine times as likely to be the target of social breaches; 54% of all breaches include the individual's full social security number; in 2018 alone, 2.8 billion consumer data records were exposed, at an estimated cost of $654 billion dollars; and 92 percent of children under the age of two have an online presence.   Expert speakers will include:
  • Kris Coleman, former CIA officer and FBI Special Agent, and founder of Red Five, specializes in protecting the privacy and security of individuals, families, and companies. Kris will discuss means of ensuring resilience and the ability to bounce back from adversity.
  • Mark Wallace of EstateSpace will offer vital information on ‘estate management’ made simple. Attendees will learn how to protect and maintain their physical assets.
  • Jim Henderson will address a business owner’s responsibility to protect client data; he will talk about his personal experiences around the subject.
“With 5G on the horizon for everyone, individual and businesses of all sizes are at risk of a data breech; we feel it is important to share what we’ve learned,” says Henderson. “It’s just not enough to have awareness of cyber security. Businesses, private estates and individuals need to be aware of the increasing advances in technology; we have to stay ahead of the hackers and perpetrators. Asset security and privacy is the result of layers of encrypted digital, data and cyber-space security; this Forum will help everyone who attends with a better understanding of the extent of this growing concern.” This event is open and free to the public. High net-worth family members and individuals, business owners, estate managers, financial advisors, attorneys and anyone with concerns about the security of data are encouraged to attend. To register, please visit www.eventbrite.com/e/privacy-cyber-security-forum-tickets-69297644119. Seating will be limited; early registration is suggested. A continental breakfast will be provided.
