The Gulf Coast Jazz collective is joined by James Suggs (trumpet) and Aaron West (saxophone) to explore the music of Dizzy Gillespie. Along with Charlie Parker, Dizzy is known as one of the creators of the bebop genre of Jazz. He is also one of the early architects of Jazz Fusion, by uniting his fascinations with Afro-Cuban music with Jazz.
