Generous local musicians are donating their time and talents to raise funds that will help the Everglades Society for Historic Preservation (a 501c3 not-for-profit) to renovate the historic Bank of Everglades Building which will eventually be used as a Visitor Center with boutique offices and artists' studios. This dignified landmark dates from 1927 in Everglades City, the first seat of Collier County. The line-up of entertainers includes Cottondale Swamp, Fiddlin' J.Robert, Raiford Starke, Florida Boys, Marie Nofsinger, Steve Arvey, C.C. Carter, The Burke Brothers, Les Dudek, Val Wisecracker & Zip Robertson and a few surprise last-minute entries. There will also be an auction of artworks and other goodies during the afternoon plus arts & crafts booths.
