Bonita Bay Club is hosting a $100,000 Women’s USTA Pro Circuit Tournament in Florida as the FineMark Women’s Pro Tennis Championship hits the club’s courts Monday, May 6 through Sunday, May 12. Featuring the top 30 to 60 competitors in women’s tennis today, the week-long USTA Pro Circuit event is the first of its caliber in Florida, marking a huge recognition of Bonita Bay Club and its commitment to tennis. The Championship week kicks off with an exhibition match between Chris Herman, 2018 Wheelchair Tennis Collegiate Champion, and club pro Adam Lane. Days of play are themed, including Military and First Responder Appreciation Day; Ladies Day; New Horizons Volunteer and Teacher Appreciation Day; Club and League Day; Family Day; and Mother’s Day. Bonita Bay Club has designated New Horizons of Southwest Florida, a nonprofit that empowers at-risk youth to reach their full potential through education, character building and mentoring, as the tournament’s nonprofit beneficiary.
