Florida Skin Center will host Check It! Day on Saturday, November 9th, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at its Fort Myers Office located at 13691 Metropolis Avenue. The annual event provides complimentary adult and pediatric skin checks for the general public. Performed by a Florida Skin Center doctor or physician assistant (PA), the full-body skin checks will address and treat common skin conditions, such as warts, molluscum and precancerous spots, as well as prescribe needed medications and screen for cancer detection. Anyone interested in obtaining a free skin exam is welcome, and screenings will be performed on a first-come, first-served basis. Skin care vendors will be on-site to provide educational training about skin health and wellness and will conduct product demonstrations. Light refreshments will be served. The entire family will enjoy entertainment by DJ Cease and can have their photos taken in the photo booth, as well as participate in raffle prizes and giveaways.
