J. McLaughlin Sip & Shop event to benefit The Founders Fund – January 28, 2019

The Founders Fund is excited to partner with J. McLaughlin again this year for a Sip & Shop event to be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 11 am to 3 pm.


The special shopping event will be held at J. McLaughlin located in the Village Shops on Venetian Bay at 4260 Gulf Shore Boulevard North (south side of shopping area).


Guests will enjoy light sips, bites and will have the opportunity to shop new arrivals from J. McLaughlin’s collections. During the event hours, 15% of the sales will be donated to support the Founders Fund scholarship fund.


J. McLaughlin offers classic clothes with current relevance; collections include ready to wear, and accessories for men and women. With over 100 stores and a thriving E-commerce business, J. McLaughlin celebrates their continued success as classic American clothiers and one of the country’s last great first-name-basis retailers.


The Founders Fund selects approximately 25 to 35 graduating students each spring from Collier County High Schools to receive scholarships based on their academic success and financial need. The $10,000 scholarships are awarded $2,500 per year as a renewable scholarship based on the student maintaining a B average. Currently, the Fund has 102 students receiving annual scholarships. Since its inception, The Founders Fund has granted over $3.9 million dollars in scholarships to over 680 Collier County students and has a scholarship commitment of over $250,000 annually.
