Description
Come join us for a Lunch & Learn on "The Red Wolf: An All-American Species" and hear an exciting presentation about red wolves, and how they were once native to Florida and the entire southeast. Find out how the plight of the panther and wolves in America are strikingly similar.
Presented by former Endangered Wolf Center Operations Director Steve Parker, this event is part of an ongoing lecture series at the Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, offered at no charge beyond the regular $14 boardwalk admission fee (pass is good for 2 days). Bring your own lunch or purchase food and drinks from our Gallery Cafe.
And if you have the time afterwards, take a walk in the Sanctuary through pine flatwood, wet prairie, around a marsh, and into the largest old growth Bald Cypress forest in North America.
No registration necessary.
