Professional concert pianist Jodie DeSalvo and vocalist Janine Connell are featured soloists for the February Concert in the Park.  DeSalvo will play the challenging third movement of Rachmaninoff’s Piano “Concerto No. 2, Op. 18”.  Connell will sing Puccini’s “O Mio Babbino Caro” and Bob Merrill’s “Mambo Italiano”. A special presentation of Michael Donovan’s new composition “Whistle Stop Junction” will also be featured.  “Orpheus” by Jacques Offenbach, Jerry Bilik’s “American Variations” and “Selections from Wicked” will provide the 80-member band with plenty of room to flex its musical muscles.

Now in its 47thseason, the Naples Concert Band is a non-profit organization dedicated to entertaining the community with enriching Sunday concerts in the park.
