Pure Florida will ring in the New Year with celebratory cruises on Monday, December 31, sailing from both its Naples location from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and its Fort Myers location from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Guests cruising from Naples will have the opportunity to indulge in appetizers and drinks while watching the fireworks show. Passengers in Fort Myers will enjoy watching the last sunset of 2018 with a complimentary drink.
    In Naples, passengers will board the M/V Double Sunshine which departs from the historic Tin City, located at 1200 Fifth Ave. S. The cruise will feature appetizers, refreshments, music and entertaining narration from Pure Florida’s captain, followed by the fireworks show from the Naples Pier, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the Naples cruise are available for $95 per person which includes one complimentary drink ticket.
    In Fort Myers, guests will board the M/V Edison Explorer which departs from The Marina at Edison Ford, located at 2360 W. First St.  The cruise will be along the Caloosahatchee River at sunset and Pure Florida’s Coast Guard-certified captain, also a master naturalist, will deliver a historical and ecological narration of local waterways and the environment. Tickets for the Fort Myers cruise are available for $35 per adult and $17.50 for children. Upon returning to dock at The Marina at Edison Ford, guests can conclude their experience by exploring the local shops and restaurants of the historic Fort Myers River District or enjoying the community’s Downtown Countdown New Year’s Eve Celebration.
    While Pure Florida cannot guarantee animal sightings in the wild, the captain will alert passengers to wildlife such as dolphins, eagles, manatee, native birds and more.
