Participants will learn about techniques such as timelines and memory sparks to recall more of the past, and legacy letters, which pass on values, wisdom and faith traditions. “Reminiscing is a joyful experience that allows individuals to revisit the special moments in their lives. Sharing these memories connects us more deeply to our children and grandchildren,” Abbott said. “That’s more important now than ever with grandparents and grandchildren often living hundreds of miles apart.” Abbott is the founder of Never Forget Legacies & Tributes, and splits her time between Bonita Springs and Middleton, Wisconsin.
