Inaugural Chef’s Cooking For Kids hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast-Lee County

Angela Melvin, community resource director with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast-Lee County, announced the inaugural Chef’s Cooking For Kids to be held Thursday, April 18 at The Club at Grandezza from 6-9 p.m. Tickets to the event are $60 per person or $500 for a table of eight.

The “Top Chef” culinary extravaganza will feature 20 top local chefs who will showcase their culinary specialties as well as cocktails, music, silent auction and camaraderie benefiting a great cause, one-to-one mentoring programs for the children of Lee County.

Participating restaurants include Angelina’s Ristorante, Blu Sushi, Cristof’s on McGregor, Cru, Fat Katz, The Firestone, Norman Love Confections, Rumrunners, Twisted Vine Bistro and Yabo. The Premiere Sponsor is Gulfcoast Coin & Jewelry. Additional sponsors include The Club at Grandezza, Chico’s, Preferred Community Bank, Vi at Bentley Village, AT&T, Florida Blue and Publix. Media sponsors are FOX 4 News and The News-Press Media Group.
