Local country music sensations, Andy Pursell and Cody Weaver will make their debut at the Whiskey Throttle Club located inside 74 Family Fun Motorsports Park on December 29. Celebrate the end of the year under the stars with two rising country music artists, vendors, food, drinks, and family fun.

Cody Weaver will open the concert. Cody is a proud fourth generation Floridian, born and raised in Lee County. His first hit single, “Heavy Load” was written after his short yet impactful stint as a firefighter/EMT about his personal struggle with PTSD. Cody cites his style as being rooted in blues, bluegrass, traditional country, and rock n’ roll. His largest musical influences are Dierks Bentley, Vince Gill, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Dan Tyminski.

Headliner Andy Pursell, an Arcadia-native, was named favorite new country artist of the Tampa Bay Music Network. In 2017, The Andy Pursell Band opened for John Michael Montgomery, Clay Walker, and was the Headliner local act for the 2017 Suwannee River Jam where they performed alongside nationally-recognized country music artists Hunter Hayes and Billy Currington. Andy blends country with a rock edge, keeping fans on their feet with an energetic performance consisting of a mix of original and cover songs.
