Moorings Chancel Choir, featured soloists and members of the Naples Philharmonic, under the direction of Dr. Thomas Goetz, present this year’s Hyacinth Masterwork, ‘Gloria’  by Antonio Vivaldi.  This particular musical setting of the traditional 'Gloria' text is cantata-like and features a festive opening, with the proclamation of the angels to the shepherds at Jesus’ birth: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to those of good will” (Luke 2:14).  The entire work is a joyful celebration of worship and thanksgiving to Christ as Lord and Savior.
