Friends of the Library of Collier County has an exciting and diverse line-up of authors in the Non Fiction Lecture Series this year.  We begin our program on January 21, with T.J. English, author of The Corporation: An Epic Story of the Cuban American Underworld.  The story of what happened after Castro kicked the U.S. and Cuban mob out of Cuba.  On February 11, Jade Wu, a Naples author will be speaking about her book Flash Points: Lessons Learned and Not Learned in Malawi, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.  Wu worked overseas as a U.S. foreign assistance provider and wishes to share her experiences in this book.  March 25, brings Les Standiford to discuss his book Meet You in Hell: Andrew Carnegie, Henry Clay Frick, and the Bitter Partnership That Changed America.  April 8, will be the final lecture of the season with Mohammed Al Samawi discussing his amazing escape from Yemen.  The book, The Fox Hunt: A Refugee's Memoir of Coming to America, is being developed into a movie by Fox2000.  This is truly a story not to be missed!  A book of many faiths ... religions and people.
