Legal Aid’s annual Barrister’s Bash raises funds to support the mission of Legal Aid Service of Collier County, and to celebrate and honor those who have demonstrated leadership and outstanding pro bono service through Legal Aid by assisting the poorest and most vulnerable members in our community to gain access to justice. Launched in 2009, the Barrister’s Bash has become the signature annual social event for the local legal community. The Bash has sold out each year since 2013 with approximately 300 patrons in attendance. Attendees include attorneys, judges, elected officials, community leaders, non-profit leaders, corporate sponsors and individual patrons. 

Legal Aid provides critical free civil legal services to over 3,500 needy Collier County residents annually. Priority is placed on securing the health, safety, and minimum economic security (including shelter) for our clients in crisis. Our clients include children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned, families facing foreclosure or eviction, victims of domestic violence, children with special educational needs, and veterans, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
