Fort Myers Hooters is partnering with Lee County Domestic Animal Services, Gulf Coast Humane Society and Big Hearts for Big Dogs Rescue for a pet adoption event on Saturday, May 11^th at the Hooters of Fort Myers.  The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hooters located at 4411 Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers.  The six previous Hooters and Hounds events have resulted in the adoption of 99 dogs.   Hooters and Hounds is a fun filled day for the community to come out and adopt pets and meet their local Hooters Girls.  “It’s heartwarming to watch the families from our local community especially the children connect with and adopt dogs and puppies from our local Humane Society, Lee County Domestic Animal Services and Big Hearts for Big Dogs Rescue.  It is one of the Hooters Girls favorite events to be a part of, “ said South Florida Hooters Director of Marketing Kristi Quarles.   “The turn out is always great, the exposure for our adoptable dogs is always well received and gives us an opportunity to educate the community on some of our other programs, such as spay/neuter & heartworm initiatives,” said Gulf Coast Humane Society Executive Director Jennifer Galloway.   Previous Hooters and Hounds have taken place at the Fort Myers and Cape Coral Hooters locations.  LTP Management, a Franchisee of Hooters of America, owns and operates 16 locations in South Florida.
