Arts for ACT Fine Art Auction and Gala is going virtual again, in 2021. As we navigate the challenges of the pandemic, we want to ensure the highest level of safety for everyone involved – especially those we serve. During these unprecedented times of quarantines and social distancing, ACT has experienced almost a doubling of the request for our services. In 2020 we made the hard decision to turn our biggest fundraiser of the year into a Virtual Event and here we are again having to make the same difficult decision. Arts for ACT is not only a wonderful social event, the revenue raised is an extremely important part of our operating revenue. For each dollar invested in ACT’s services, an average of ten dollars is saved by preventing violence and the resulting costs in law enforcement, health care, missed days of work, and other social costs. Investing in ACT through donations, attending our 2021 Virtual Arts for ACT Gala, or giving to ACT in other ways means not only a violence-free future for our community is possible, it also means a more financially stable community for all of us to enjoy, safely.
