You’re invited to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony at Golf Coast Driving Range, 9000 Williams Road, at 9 a.m., Friday, September 9, presented by the Village of Estero, Estero Forever Foundation and Estero Chamber of Commerce. Doors will open at 8 a.m., with coffee and refreshments provided. In addition, driving range specials will be available from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The ceremony acknowledges the new partnership between the Village and the Estero Forever Foundation whose volunteers will operate the driving range to help raise funds for the foundation until the property is eventually re-developed. The revenue will go directly to the Village, with a portion to be directed back to the foundation on a monthly basis to be used to fulfill their vision statement. The current operating hours for the driving range are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Buckets of balls range from $9 for small, $11 medium and $13 for a large bucket.
