Launch Party for Millennial Fund for the Environment

November 09, 2018 to November 09, 2018
05:00 PM untill 10:00 PM

Millennial Brewing Company, in collaboration with the Southwest Florida Community Foundation, is kicking off the Millennial Fund for the Environment with a party at the Downtown Fort Myers brewery on Friday, November 9th, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The 1811 Royal Palm Avenue event will include food trucks, live music, donation jars, a raffle and a silent auction. There is no RSVP requirement or entry fee, and food from the trucks, as well as Millennial Brewing beer, will be available for purchase.

The microbrewery and its foundation partner hope to execute philanthropy and regularly support environmental causes and organizations through weekly contributions to the Millennial Fund. These contributions will come from daily taproom sales, customer “roundup” campaigns and donations from every keg that goes into distribution. “Roundup” campaigns occur when customers round their tab to the nearest dollar.

“We’re not millionaires, we’re Millennials. But even so, community support is at the core of what we do. In a given month, you’ll see us supporting 5-10 charities with special events and happy hours. This fund allows us to do it every day and give back to the community who raised us,” said Amber Cebull, co-owner of Millennial Brewing.

“I continue to be inspired by Millennial Brewing Company’s willingness to invest in our community. At every turn, the team finds ways to support local nonprofits and community causes. We are honored to partner with them on the Millennial Fund,” said Sarah Owen, president and CEO of the Southwest Florida Community Foundation.
