“CHANGING PERSPECTIVES, CHANGING LIVES” Since 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters is the nation’s largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring network and has operated under the belief that every child has incredible potential. Big Brothers Big Sisters seeks to change the lives of children facing adversity for the better, forever. They operate in communities all across the United States, urban and rural. Their mentors work with children in the community, in their schools, on military bases, and many places in between, helping children achieve success in school, avoid risky behaviors like drugs and alcohol, and helps them improve their self-confidence. They see to change the lives of these children facing adversity between 6-18 years of age.
