Description
Celebrate the rich lives and art of Ikki and Polly Matsumoto in a retrospective of their work. Both were passionate, creative artistic forces within their community and beyond. Well known residents of Sanibel, they operated a successful art gallery for over thirteen years. Ikki’s paintings capture his love of wildlife and the native birds of Sanibel while Polly’s mixed media fiber art is filled with earthy colors and rich textures.
Opening reception: Friday, February 7 from 5-7 p.m. See it first, see it free.
Admission to the gallery is free, but a $5 suggested donation keeps programming affordable and accessible
