In celebration of Mother’s Day, Shangri-La Springs, the historic property in downtown Bonita Springs celebrating 100 years, will offer a garden tour and tea on Tuesday, May 11 at 2 p.m.
The event will start with an educational tour of the garden focusing on tea-specific plants, followed by a tea party with socially distanced tables in the property’s patio. Light bites and tea will be offered along with a discussion and question and answer by Shangri-La Springs organic gardener Cecelia Morales about various tea plants. Guests are invited to enjoy social time at the tables, meditation or a walk around the landscaped property. In keeping with the resort’s zero-waste goals, each guest will receive a reusable branded tea mug.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are $30 per person, including the tea mug. The event is limited to a maximum of 20 participants. For information or to register, call 239-949-0749.
