A limited number of tickets are on sale now for the Antinori Wine Dinner, a charitable event to raise funds for The Community House, a gathering place for Sanibel Island activities operated by the Sanibel Community Association (SCA). Hosted by Bailey’s General Store, the dinner and wine pairing will showcase Marchesi Antinori’s Italian portfolio. The Antinori family has been winemaking for over six centuries since 1385 and is the winery renowned for making the famous Super Tuscan, Tignanello. The featured guest is Drew Connor, State Manager for Antinori.
Up to 40 guests will enjoy a dinner featuring wines paired with locally sourced cuisine created by Chef Karl of Sanibel Catering Company. The local menu and wines pair perfectly with Bailey’s commitment to serving their community. The multi-course dinner will be June 8, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at 2173 Periwinkle Way. Tickets are $100 per person or $550 for a table of six and includes a welcome glass of sparkling wine, assorted hors d’oeuvres, a tasting of various Antinori wines, locally-sourced dinner pairings, as well as various dessert selections.
