If you've got a hankering for Ruth's Chris or Shula's but your wife says, "It's killing you!," direct her eyes to a new study from Japan which found that men (average age 67) who ate the most meat and fish reduced their chances of physical and mental decline by 39 percent over those who ate the least. Researchers say our bodies are able to absorb less protein as we age, enhancing our need for it. But those same researchers caution that it still might be a good idea to get most of that protein from eggs and fish. (Most, but not all. Meet us at Shula's!)
