Hot Dish: Cuckoo for (Local) Cocoa

With Jack Frost nipping at our noses these unseasonably cold mornings—and Cupid getting ready to point his bow on Feb. 14—we’ve found ourselves hankering for a cup of hot chocolate. But not just any hot chocolate. The sinfully rich and bittersweet Norman Love Potion spotted at area Norman Love stores. Made with cane sugar and packaged with vials of extra flavorings, ordinary brews become extraordinary with hot commodities such as Dragon’s Fire (jalapeno and cayenne peppers tamed by cinnamon and a hint of vanilla) or Tropical Oasis (coconut powder and even more sugar).
