Naples Gallery to host two French-themed events

BY February 18, 2015

Naples' Jo-Gi Gallery is celebrating its 15th anniversary with two unique French-themed events.

First up is its Silent Art Auction, on-site tomorrow (Thursday) through Saturday. Bid on original paintings, sculptures and lithographs by renowned living and passed artists of France. The auction begins with a gala preview tonight from 6-7 p.m. Silent bids are open tonight from 7-8 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

On March 15, the gallery teams up with neighboring French restaurant La Bazenne to present French on Fifth, an event of French fine art, wine and cuisine. The party kicks off at the gallery with a gala fine art reception, which includes a meet and greet with artists, and then moves to a sit-down dinner at La Bazenne. $175 per person includes the reception with wines and hors d'oeuvre, "Pik-a-Tik" (savings on original artwork and your choice of poster), round-trip shuttle transport, more wines, commentary, a gourmet tasting dinner, gratuities and tax. Reservations required by March 2; call La Bazenne at (239) 682-8623 or email AG@labazenne.com.
