Your core will thank you for signing up for Saturday's Battle on the Blueway SUP Race, a festival of stand-up paddleboarding celebrating the Great Calusa Blueway at Fort Myers Beach’s Crescent Beach Family Park. But in addition to a great workout, the unofficial sport of Southwest Florida offers even greater vantage point on our glittering Gulf. Make no mistake, the 2-mile and 7-mile events are definitely competitions, but the atmosphere couldn’t be more fun, with kids’ races, demos, food and gear all in support of the Special Olympics.
