What to See and Do in October in Southwest Florida

We’re slowly emerging from the summer slumber to kick off season once again here in Southwest Florida. One of the good things about season: More stuff to do.

Here’s a few concerts, plays, festivals and events we’re looking forward to this month.

Oct. 6-30: Gulfshore Playhouse presents Constellations
Oct. 6-9: TheatreZone presents Of Thee I Sing
Oct. 6-Nov. 12: The Nerd at Off Broadway Palm Theatre
Oct. 7-29: The Best Man at The Laboratory Theater of Florida
Oct. 12-Nov. 6: The Rocky Horror Picture Show at The Naples Players

 

Oct. 7-25: Scare yourself at the Dark Art exhibit at Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center

Oct. 7-9: Fort Myers Beach Pirate Festival

Oct. 8: Peter Frampton Raw at Artis—Naples

Oct. 15: Dennis DeYoung and the music of Styx with the Naples Philharmonic

Oct. 15: Delfeayo Marsalis Quartet at Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs

Oct. 16-22: “Ding” Darling Days opens up the wildlife refuge for free and discounted events.

Oct. 18: Jason Isbell at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall

Oct. 20: O.A.R at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall

Oct. 23: Mary Chapin Carpenter at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall

Oct. 27-30: The Naples International Film Festival is always a highlight of the year. Here’s this year’s film lineup.

Oct 28-30: The Stone Crab Festival in Naples
