A trio of stars sing at Artis—Naples starting Saturday.

BY January 3, 2017

Pop, soul, country—take your pick. Neapolitans need not travel far for melodic variety this month, as not just one hit maker but a trio of big names is coming to Artis—Naples.

Michael Bolton

Jan. 7

For some crowds his name alone may draw a chuckle, but for others the hard rocker-turned-  serious balladeer makes the heart go pitter patter. Say what you want about his early boot off Dancing with the Stars and his Pizza Hut commercial; his distinct voice (and, yes, even its take on When a Man Loves a Woman) endures.

Kenny Rogers

Jan. 30

Not to say you’ll never see this Country Music Hall of Famer and his white goatee on a stage again, but Rogers’ stop here is a part of his “The Gambler’s Last Deal” final world tour. You’ll get a good dose of his biggest hits alongside some reflection on his 50-year career via stories, photos and videos.

Gladys Knight

Jan. 24

She may be coming sans the Pips, but we’re still counting on her to take us gracefully on that Midnight Train to Georgia. You don’t win four Grammys—spanning pop, R&B and gospel—without a shining solo voice like hers.
