Food Trucks to Gather in North Naples on Saturday

Eat your way around the parking lot in the Galleria Shoppes at Vanderbilt and raise money for Cystic Fibrosis in the process.

As our craft beer business is reaching new heights, food trucks are marching in lock-step. Stop by any of our dozen-plus microbreweries on any given night, and you’re guaranteed to catch at least one or two mobile kitchens dishing out utterly crave-worthy fare.

But to have your pick of nearly a dozen in one North Naples location, head on over to the Galleria Shoppes at Vanderbilt this Saturday, April 28, for a pop-up food truck rally and lawn concert from 6-10 p.m. Trucks from near (Little Pete’s, Organically Twisted and The Sizzle Truck, all based in Naples) and far (Coasting Donuts/Cape Coral, Taco Tummy/Immokalee and The Nosh Truck/Fort Myers) will join forces with the strip mall’s food vendors like Angelic Desserts and Neighborhood Organics for a pay-as-you-go bonanza—plus, a local band, Petrichor, will rock out from 7-9 p.m. (lawn chairs and blankets are welcome). Admission is gratis, but attendees are urged to make donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, as it’s a cause near and dear to everyone involved (check out the backstory on Angelic Desserts and see how sweet the store’s mission is).
