Poolside Eats and Spa Treats

The Spa at Naples Grande wants locals to know the door is always open with a host of new programs and promotions, including a taste of the resort’s restaurants.

Naples Grande Beach Resort has always been a favorite for cocktails on the Sunset Veranda or dinner at The Catch of the Pelican, but the new director at The Spa at Naples Grande is opening the hotel’s door even wider to Neapolitans who want to enjoy all of what it has to offer.

There are spas. And then there are spas, the kinds of places where you can easily spend an entire day being pampered, lounging inside or out, having a bite to eat or taking a dip. Yenier Marrero, who came here from the exclusive Fisher Island Club, wants Neapolitans to know this is that latter kind of spa—and we’re as welcome as any guest of the resort. To that end, among his enticing selection of promotions is summertime access to the resort pool and its Gulf Coast Oasis café (both among the only sections of the resort not normally open to locals).

From now through Sept. 30, you can get one of four treatments for the “Spa and Pool Days” package that for $129 includes your pick of a 50-minute Swedish massage, a signature organic facial, a hair color and blow-dry, or a spa manicure and pedicure (or, for $229 you can choose two), plus two glasses of Champagne and all-day resort access. The promo can be used Monday through Thursday. Should September slip by and you haven’t booked anything, however, Marrero reminds us that anyone receiving treatments can order from the Aura or room service menus and have the food delivered directly to the spa’s private pool. The tranquil outdoor lounge practically begs you to unwind and stay awhile with plenty of chaises, a hot tub, a sauna and a steam room as well.
