The holidays are all about sparkle, and what better way to amp up the glitz than by securing your significant other a doted-upon afternoon at a gem-lover’s paradise? Picture this: She waltzes into Naples’ Provident Jewelry,  and the team whisks her through the showroom to a private nook with plush leather chairs. Flutes of Armand de Brignac’s Ace of Spades Champagne and a platter of oysters tempt atop the marble-clad, full-service bar. The team delivers four pieces: a limited-edition Cartier watch, a 24-carat ruby and 30-carat diamond necklace with matching earrings, and a Graff 12-carat fancy yellow diamond ring. The jewels—selected just for her—twinkle under the studio’s lighting. This is the Dream Factory experience.

The 6,000-square-foot space is the latest for the Naples Fifth Avenue South location of Provident Jewelry, the 30-year-industry veterans with six Florida boutiques. With the Naples Dream Factory experience, aficionados get one-on-one attention, with a focus on ultra-exclusive products and education. Adding to your timepiece collection? A horologist can guide you through the ins and outs of partner brands like Franck Muller and why they’re the way to go for innovative timepieces or how few beat Chopard’s knack for blending stunning gems with sophisticated mechanics. On-staff gemologists help clients gain a deeper appreciation for the nuanced beauty of precious stones—teaching them to assess the Four Cs (color, clarity, cut and carat), the power in origin, and why, say, Argyle pink diamonds are so coveted today. After all, the jewelers know even the most beautiful pieces shine brighter when you learn their story. “When someone’s going to buy a piece of jewelry … they want to understand why this particular piece is important, in an environment where they can sit down and relax, and be with someone very knowledgeable,” managing partner Jarred Kaplan says.

Plan ahead and work with the jewelers to preselect a range of treasures for your partner to shop from or let the team surprise him or her. On the other hand, if your lover is a social butterfly, book a party at the Dream Factory for up to 100 gem-loving friends. Absolutely brilliant.
