Pablo Braida, MS
Master Sommelier Pablo Braida, worked around the world before moving to Texas with his wife, Lila Wallace. Braida now works as a consultant for Dallas-based Monarch Restaurants and in customer relations for Austin-based Estate Wine Brokers. His love affair with wine and hospitality started at the centuries-old The Berkeley, in London, where he worked before heading to Spain to take courses at the Higher School of Hospitality. Braida then earned spots as a sommelier in establishments throughout Mallorca and Barcelona. In 2015, he and Lila moved to California, where he worked as a wine manager and sommelier pursuing the Master Sommelier title. The pandemic and wildfires in California urged the Braidas to move east to Texas, where two years ago, he became the first Argentinian to earn the title of Master Sommelier.
