In this handsome study, interior designer Judith Liegeois says the view “seems to never end.”

The property was re-imagined from the ground up by Herscoe Hajjar Architects, Judith Liegeois Design and Exteriors by Koby Kirwin to create a haven that highlights the nature preserve bordering this Mediterra home. “The idea was to create a space that was private from the other outdoor spaces for the homeowners to meditate or do yoga,” Liegeois says.

The pool and other spaces are just around the corner and within easy reach, while the private ipe wood path is surrounded by greenery that becomes more lush and unruly as it nears the preserve.

Inside, the team incorporated floor-to-ceiling windows and wallpaper that mimics the look of bark. “We wanted to have a home that was cozy and comfortable, where the outdoors were very much part of the indoor spaces, as well,” Liegeois says. “Everything about it exudes a sense of calm.”
