Bottoms Up: Paradise Wine

In case you missed it, what started as a boutique wine and spirits retailer with a small bar out front has become one of the most consistently busy hangouts on the Gulfshore. The success of Paradise Wine stems in part from the cocktails that its bartenders muddle, shake, blow-torch and pour, like the bourbon-based “Up in Smoke,” a mojito spiked with fresh watermelon, or “Love Potion No. 9,” a bewitching mingle of Prosecco, thyme and blackberries. But fans flock for more: A full kitchen serves global small plates, live music brings revelers to their feet—it’s one-stop shopping for a night out.
