At Babcock Ranch, the “F” in TGIF stands for Fridays, food trucks and fun. The world’s first solar-powered town located just northeast of Fort Myers on Babcock Ranch Road/State Road 31 is introducing monthly Food Truck Fridays, starting Jan. 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. Additional Food Truck Fridays are scheduled for Feb. 22, March 29 and April 26.

Guests can visit Founder’s Square, the heart of Babcock Ranch, to enjoy fare from ten of the area’s most popular food trucks, including Buddha Blends, Classic Cuban, Kona Ice, Ma Petite Creperie, Red Roc Cravings, Rollin’ Raw Bar, Squeezers Lemonade, Sweet Cheesus, Table & Tap and Zoet Sweet Boutique.

Local rock, reggae and blues band Mad Soul will entertain the crowd under the Babcock Ranch bandshell. Guests can bring picnic blankets for lawn seating; tables will also be available.
