The New and Improved Trail Café

Take a look for yourself at how subtle changes to both the décor and food have made a big difference to the breakfast nook.

A  protracted renovation had many wondering when (or if) one of their North Naples favorites for hearty omelets and filling sandwiches would reopen. Proving good things come to those who wait, Trail Café and Grill is back and serving the same type of comforting breakfast and lunch staples with even more precision from the new owner—and the country kitchen setting has been smartly reengineered to feel warm, inviting and fresh. Check it out.

Farm-house chic details like washed-wood consoles and a wall of sunny windows separate the front from the back of the café. Longtime fans will recognize the original layout is still much the same.

Breakfast scrambles strike the right balance with complementary flavors (not to mention the fluffiest eggs): Here the “Greek” mixes slivers of green onion with spinach, diced tomatoes, feta cheese, potatoes and kalamata olives.

The Razzleberry French Toast, a signature dish from the previous owners, is going strong—and arguably better than ever with plump, egg-drenched toast topped with a generous heap of toasted pecans and a beautiful mixed berry compote.

A new outdoor sitting area provides pleasant spot to relax if the tables are on wait.

Hardwood floors and a slate accent wall invigorated the space without straying far from the country vibe; the display case at back continues to be filled with freshly baked pastries.
